Do you offer quick or express details?

No. Grimeaway Autoworks focuses on precision reconditioning, not fast or low-cost washes. Every vehicle receives professional-grade attention and protection, ensuring lasting results rather than temporary shine.

How long does a detail take?

We ask that you drop off your vehicle at 9am and expect to pick it up around 5pm, if it is done earlier, we will call or message you. Our traditional detail packages typically take 6-7 hours.

Is detailing worth it for older cars?

Absolutely. A proper restoration detail can rejuvenate aged paint and interiors, adding resale value and protection.

How often should I have my car detailed?

We recommend every 4–6 months for daily drivers or 2–3 times a year for vehicles stored indoors.

Do you use harsh chemicals?

Can I combine detailing with other services like dent or coating repair?

Can I customize my detailing service?

Yes. You can add extra services like engine bay cleaning, odor treatment, paint correction prep, or windshield protection. When booked with a detail, add-ons are discounted up to 50% off standard pricing.

What exactly is paint correction?

Paint correction is a multi-stage polishing process that removes defects like swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and haze to restore clarity and gloss.

How long does it take?

Single-stage correction takes about 6–8 hours. Multi-stage correction can take up to 20+ hours depending on the vehicle’s condition.

Can you perform paint correction on new cars?

Yes. Even new vehicles often have dealer or factory-installed swirl marks that we can safely remove.

How long do results last?

When maintained properly, results can last several years with correct washing and protection.

Is paint correction safe for my clear coat?

Will paint correction fix all scratches?
